One of my favorite treats this trip was Softree Organic Softserve with Honeycomb. This store opened recently a year ago in Garosugil and due to it’s amazing success has opened many new locations. I also tried the Myeongdong Lotte Shopping Mall food court and Itaewon locations as well.
The staple food to order is the vanilla soft serve with a real honeychip which you can order in a cup or a cone for W4,800 or about $4.50. The honeycomb is so delicious and fresh and chewy. If you are a fan of honey you must try this! The only flavor of soft serve is vanilla but you can choose between a regular cone or pay a bit more for a fresh baked bread cone which is similar to the cone shaped pastries which are common in Korea. Apparently the lines for the original store used to be 2 hours when they first opened, however I made my trek to the Garosugil store on a snowy winter day at opening time and did not have to wait. During my two week stay in Korea I ate this about 5 times and each time it was pretty cold and snowy but there were always other customers waiting for this delicious treat.
