BCD Tofu House in Fort Lee serves the best soondubu and is one of my favorite Korean restaurants in New Jersey. It is tastier than the one in New York on 32nd Street (a few people agree with me on this) and cheaper too.

I go to BCD Tofu House at least twice a month. It is located in a shopping plaza and has ample parking space. It’s a consistently delicious quick in and out place. I also like to order things to go, because their signature soft tofu soondubu soup tastes great reheated at home. There is a lot of seating here so I usually do not have to wait as I usually get there around opening time at 10:30AM.
My favorite dishes at this place are appetizers: tteokbokki and fried mandoo dumplings, entree: steamed oyster rice with soondubu combo or bibimbap / soondobu combo. After eating this I like to buy wine at the store nearby, Hudson Wine Market, they always have great prices and selection.

Lunch Menus. All soondubus are $11.99 at lunch, they also have many “jeongsik” combos with a traditional Korean entree such as bibimbap or bulgogi with your choice of soondubu. You can specify the level of spiciness you want your soondobu between plain (no spice at all), mild, regular, hot, and danger.
Special menu for my favorite dish here, the steamed Oyster Deluxe Rice with Soondubu combo for $16.99.
The banchan / side dishes, many people come to BCD Tofu House specifically to eat this fried fish banchan. You get all these banchan even if you just order a $11.99 soondubu soft tofu soup.

If you don’t live near a BCD Tofu House, you can buy the BCD soft tofu soup kit, which I reviewed here at HMart.
